To report a by-law infringement in the City of Tshwane
Residents should contact the By-law Enforcement Centre (BEC). You can lodge a report anonymously, but providing contact details allows the city to give you feedback within 21 days.

WASTE BIN REPLACEMENT
Residents must apply through the City’s Waste Management Division. Submit a completed application form, your ID, and municipal account details at a local walk-in center/depot or email the request to wastemanagement@tshwane.gov.za. Damaged bins are often replaced, while stolen bins may require an affidavit.
Application Process for Replacement Bins:
- Method 1: Email: Send requests to wastemanagement@tshwane.gov.za.
- Method 2: Walk-in: Visit a local municipal depot or customer care center to fill in a form.
Required Documentation: ID Document and a copy of your Municipal Account. - Process: The delivery team will contact you for delivery, at which point the old/broken bin is collected.
